On arrival you’ll join other party guests and V.I.P.s on the red carpet where the launch of the 2011 Sauvignon Blanc will take place. You’ll enjoy wine tasting courtesy of some of Marlborough’s premium wineries. Villa Maria, Dog Point, Astrolabe Wines, Wairau River, Hunters, Tohu, Forrest Wines and Whitehaven will all have their latest vintages on offer for the evening.
While enjoying these delights you’ll be treated to laid back international jazz from the Tony Thiel Trio and have the chance to socialize with your fellow party goers from around the globe on this night of nights.
You will then be ushered to your seats for an extravaganza of New Zealand fashion headlined by the first showing of the Kate Sylvester 2012 winter collection. Joining Kate's designs on the catwalk will be the latest from internationally recognized Kiwi designers Stolen Girlfriends Club and the stunning shoe designs of Kathryn Wilson.
This is the official launch of the Kate Sylvester 2012 winter collection and will be the first time collections such as Stolen Girlfriends Club and Kathryn Wilson have been seen outside 'fashion industry only' events. It’s been a real coup for the Indulge team to pull this off for you.
Following the fashion show you’ll be able to return to the welcome hall and sample more wonderful wine and food. But a party isn’t a party until you hit the dance floor so to make sure you have all the motivation you need we've lined up great musical entertainment from the guy who has taught more than one generation of Kiwis to party, Kiwi music icon Midge Marsden and his band.
